- His family is fabulous. I grew up with Sam and his brothers, went to the same parish church, high-school and such. Have known the Cordileone's almost 50 years. He made a mistake. And I bet almost everyone reading this has been guilty of a DUI or two in their time.

- Looks like there might be trouble again. I have been tracking Splendor's progress since she got underway. She has dropped her speed from 7 knots down to just 1 and has not made any significant progress for the past hour. Anybody hearing anything on the maritime radios?

- Amen, IC. Try FLYING one of these things for a living. It just isn't like it used to be. Bus with wings certainly describes it. Back in the earliest days of my career it was much more like family, and we could actually treat our passengers like they were family. Some of is still do.

- I was a Navy medic back in the 70's and worked with several gays and lesbians (officers and enlisted) in my command. They served honorably and put their lives on the line every bit as much as anyone I ever had the honor to serve with.

- Oh God! That is just tooooooo funny! I can see it now, the Teawitch dancing to the theme from Bewitched, or maybe a freestyle to "Tea for Two". On a more serious note.. from those of us not wanting Bristol to win. It isn't that we hate Bristol; rather it is what she represents.

- The scary part of it is Bristol needs only to out-pole Jennifer in the popular vote by roughly 4%. Assuming 70 million votes were cast that translates into roughly 280,000 votes more for Bristol than Jennifer and it's a done steal.
